About Kumotoy
Kumotoy started with one toy. Not a catalogue, not a marketplace: one building kit that we think is the best S$60 a parent in Singapore can spend on a three-year-old, and a promise to stand behind it.
Why the Kumo Drill
We wanted a toy that holds a young child's attention the way a screen does, without the screen. An electric screwdriver sized for small hands does exactly that. Lining up the bit, pressing the button, watching the screw sink in: it is absorbing, it trains the same fine motor control a pencil grip needs later, and it grows from flat pictures on the pegboard to free-standing 3D builds without buying anything new.
How we work
- One product, done properly. Every set is checked for completeness and finish before it ships. If something is missing or breaks in normal play, we replace it and pay the delivery.
- Honest timing. Sets are flown in per batch of orders, so delivery takes 7 to 12 working days. We say so on every page rather than surprising you after checkout.
- Safety first, always. Age grading, materials and small-part warnings are listed on the product page, not hidden in a leaflet.
- A person answers. Questions about age fit, gifting or your order go to a small Singapore-based team, not a bot.
Why the name
Kumo means cloud. It is the feeling we want a Kumotoy parcel to have when it lands on your table: light, a little bit magic, and the start of an afternoon that nobody wants to end.
